The forthcoming defamation case is certainly going to result in pariah
status for failed Exeter businessman and Internet troll, John Bunt.
Bunt seems to regard himself as some sort of crusading figure, making a
valiant attempt to protect usenet forums, from the attentions of "trolls"
very much like himself.
If he should succeed in this, then its very likely that access to usenet
forums would be restricted/removed from many less technically able net
users.
Therein lies Buntys problem..............the great British public generally
reacts vigorously to any obvious direct attempt to curtail its freedom of
choice or action!
Seems to me that rather than a savior Mr Bunt is over the coming weeks
likely to be seen in the light of being a pariah and a laughing stock, who
when the matter is finally concluded and the press gets its teeth in, may
well become a figure of fun and target of derision throughout the
world..............
