Identying the Lowlife

It's about time the Police got back to walking beat patrols
in towns and villages. They used to glean so much info in
the past from just casually asking questions and observing
behaviour that it gave them a tremendous advantage.

With the superior communications they have now I am
sure it would pay greater dividends.

Don't forget to whine and moan when yer walking Bobby can't respond to a
stolen vehicle or attend an accident or carry the paperwork to record
complaints or pursue a vehicle borne villain!

Walking has it's place but nowadays it's only any good for PR. It has no
practical value. Don't get me wrong, I like it, it's a nice skive but
it's just a break from doing police work.
